Philadelphia's ABC 6 News aired a segment on first-year WUDPAC students' efforts to preserve a group of photographs and locate the owners of the collection.
During their photograph
conservation training block, one group of students are working with a collection of prints and negatives purchased from an antiques shop in
Arden, Delaware. The students are cleaning and rehousing prints of weddings, vacations and holidays—many from the 1930s—and are now trying
to determine the origins of the photos.
A gallery has been set up on the University of Delaware's Facebook page, in hopes that someone seeing the photos may recognize people in the photos; visit the image gallery here. A clip of the newscast is available on the UD Art Conservation Programs Facebook page here, and on the ABC Action News website, here.
