The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston seeks applicants for the Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship for Advanced Training in Textile Conservation. This one-year appointment begins in the fall/winter of 2015. The Mellon Fellow will have the opportunity for in-depth examination and treatment of artworks and to participate in a wide range of conservation activities with conservators, conservation scientists, collections care specialists and curators. 

Conservation Engineer, Objects-Museum of Fine Arts Boston

Under the general direction of the Head of Objects Conservation and the chair of Conservation and Collections Management, the Conservation Engineer will perform duties related to monumental sculpture projects including their preparation for exhibition, transport, and storage, as well as aspects of conservation.

Museum Technician (Natural Science, 2 vacancies)-Smithsonian Institution

This position is located in the National Museum of Natural History, Department of Botany, Core Collections Management Unit and exists under the supervision of the Collections Manager. The incumbent performs a variety of duties in connection with the management of the Department’s collections.
