The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art seeks the services of a paper conservator for the conservation of 19 linocuts from the Oshogbo Movement in Nigeria.

Museum Technician-National Park Service

This position is located at the National Park Service, National Capital Region, in Washington, DC.  Independently identifies, sorts, classifies and catalogs to NPS Standards museum objects representing a wide variety of object types and materials. According to NPS Standards, properly handles, moves, transports, cleans, stores, and labels museum objects in the permanent collection. Performs routine cleaning stabilization or preservation of museum artifacts whose treatment does not require a high degree of specialization. Makes recommendations to immediate supervisor for the care of museum collections. 

Chief Conservator-John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art

The Chief Conservator is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day activities in the Ringling Museum Conservation Lab, and ensuring that the Museum follows the AIC Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice in its care and conservation of artistic and historic material.
