The Heritage Preservation, Planning and Compliance Directorate, Northeast Museum Services Center is seeking to fill a Museum Curator to serve as a team leader and subject matter expert for the Archeology Cataloging Program.  The incumbent will be responsible for designing curriculum and teaching collection management theory and practice on a wide range of subjects including, (but not limited to), emergency response, security, threat assessment, operational leadership, and cataloging. 

The position being advertised is located in the Northeast Regional Office, Heritage Preservation, Planning and Compliance Directorate, Northeast Museum Services Center (NMSC).   This office is located in Charlestown, which is a suburb and part of Boston, MA. The incumbent serves as a Museum Specialist in the Northeast Museum Services Center (NMSC) having responsibilities for providing support to Northeast Region Parks (NER) in the management of their museum collections.  The incumbent provides a full range of curatorial support work for the National Parks in the NER, primarily serving as a museum cataloger for archeological collections.  This is a temporary (13 month) position.

The historic interiors technician is responsible for protecting and preserving Colonial Williamsburg's assets by implementing preventive conservation procedures.
