Oil Paint
If I paint solvent-free with oil paint straight out of the tube for my first layer, and let that dry to the touch for my second layer, and so on for subsequent layers, do I have to make each subsequent layer fatter by adding a little oil to my paint nuts, assuming I use no solvent ever? Or since there is no solvent do I not have to make each layer fatter? Thank you.

It is my understanding of current CPVC thinking is that you
could continue to layer well-made solvent free oil paints over each other
without necessitating the use of additional binder. This assumes that
subsequent layers are similar to those beneath them. This is imperfect in
practice as low oil absorption paints applied over high absorption paints can cause problems (as I have seen innumerable times
when doing conservation work). I see no
issue adding a very small addition of extra binder to subsequent layers.

It is easier if you read over this thread which covers some similar ground

Some pigments require a minumum of oil to be properly bound while others require a high percentage.
