Glaser Conservator at the Weissman Preservation Center at Harvard University. Debora plays a leadership role in paper conservation across the Harvard University Library and is the libraries senior-most paper conservator responsible for the care and treatment of rare and unique materials, largely unbound and ranging from historic documents to works of art on paper held in special collections. Prior to coming to Harvard University in 2008 Debora had been the principal of an independent paper studio for the past fifteen years servicing cultural institutions and private collectors throughout New England. Her professional experiences also include an internship at the Fogg Art Museum-Center for Conservation and Technical Studies at Harvard University, Assistant Paper Conservator at the Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts in Philadelphia, and Associate Paper Conservator at the Winterthur Museum. Debora has expertise in material identification with special emphasis of fiber identification. She is a Fellow of the American Institute for Conservation and has served in the Book and Paper Group, the Photographic Materials Group, and on the Education and Training Committee.   Debora holds a BFA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MS in Conservation from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation (1982).
