Freshman Survival Guide

Worrying about beginning the next phase of your life as a college student? This page is just what you need! We have compiled a range of information and links to much more with the goal of making your transition from high school to college as smooth as possible. From doing laundry, to making new friends, to going home for breaks, we have tried to cover everything; check out the links to the left. If you have any further questions about UD or art conservation or college in general, feel free to join the UD art conservation club Facebook page and ask us!

Starting in Fall 2014, we created a living-learning community in Lane Hall in conjunction with the Anthropology and Art History Departments. Living-Learning Communities (LLC) provide the opportunity to become part of a unique experience with programs and facilities to advance the interests of the community members.  Each LLC is connected with a specific academic unit or department that provides support to the residents in these communities and direction for developmental activities. There is also as service component and in fall 2014 students created a blog to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Women's College.

The 2015 service project will involve outreach for the Brick Wall near the bookstore.
