Peggy Olley
Painted Surfaces Conservator, Supplemental Faculty
Peggy Olley received her BFA in Crafts from Kutztown University in 1998 and her MS in Art Conservation from the University of Delaware in 2005. A conservator specializing in the examination and treatment of painted surfaces, Peggy has held internships at the Shelburne Museum and The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, working in both the Architectural Research and Conservation Departments. She returned to the University of Delaware following graduation as a Limited-Term Researcher, assisting with teaching both undergraduate and graduate classes as well as working in the Furniture and Woodwork Conservation Lab at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She has also worked with public outreach and conservation advocacy.
