Good Luck Class of 2007
On Saturday May 26, 2007 the undegraduate program in art conservation will celebrate the graduation of 17 students with family and friends.
This year's graduating class has assisted with the conservation of collections nationally including the recent treatment of the Star-Spangled Banner and Hurricane Katrina Recovery. Many of the students have also been involved in helping to preserve collections at local institutions including Hagley Museum and Winterthur Museum & Country Estate.
Several graduates will continue their academic studies this fall in Master's level programs including the UCLA/Getty Program in Archaeological and Ethnographic Conservation, Simmons College's Master's in Library Science Program, and Georgetown's Art and Museum Studies Program. Others have accepted positions in conservation laboratories and studios around the country including the National Park Service at Harper's Ferry, the New Orleans Conservation Guild, the Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts, and the National Center for Preservation Technology and Training.
We are proud of what these students have accomplished during their time at the University of Delaware and look forward to following their careers in the years to come. Congratulations class of 2007!
